Gardens, Gardens and More Gardens

Featured International GardenCanada Blooms is proud to announce that for the first time in our 16 year history we will present a Featured International Garden.  The City of Taipei in Taiwan will join the celebration presenting a Featured Garden reflecting their culture and diversity as well as showcasing their gardening and horticulture products that have made Taiwan one of the most beautiful destinations in the world to visit. Visitors will have an Landscape Ontarioopportunity to Enter to Win a Trip to Taipei City (prize includes flight, accommodation and tour).

Utilizing the theme “CITYCULTURE”, 20 exceptional gardens will be created by industry leaders from Landscape Ontario. Designs will represent the diverse culture of Toronto, Ontario and CanadaGardens

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will partner with Canada Blooms to present the “Juno Rocks” Gardens.  4 Gardens Inspired by JUNO Award Nominees and Winners (Keshia Chanté, Jann Arden, Feist, Sarah Slean & Royal Wood) reflecting each artist’s particular style and genre. The JUNO Awards Celebrate their 41st Anniversary from Ottawa, March 26 to April 1st, 2012 culminating with the live CTV Broadcast on Sunday, April 1st from the Scotiabank Place.

Canada’s largest floral competition presented by the Garden Club of Toronto featuring 10 International competitors from Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the United States.

Over 200 hours of free gardening seminars by Canada’s premier speakers, including Canada AM’s Mark Cullen, AM740’s’s Charlie Dobbin, BTV’s Frank Ferragine, Paul Zammit, Denis Flanagan, etc. will be presented to visitors in the Canada Blooms Educational Series. Also enjoy some of the best speakers in Home Improvement and Decoration courtesy of the National Home Show: Jane Lockhart, Bryan Baeumler, Jackie Morra, Jim Caruk and more.

The new Toronto Botanical Garden Speaker Series is presented daily on the Unilock Celebrity Stage presented by HGTV featuring some of the best known names in Canada’s Gardening community.

Take a break while visiting Canada Blooms at the new restaurant and relaxation areas including the Homes Publishing Café, the Twinings Tea Tasting Area and the Wine Sensory Garden presented by Reif Winery and Mori Gardens and Café Soleil.

Families will enjoy the end of March Break with special experiences in the Gardens for Living Natural Playground which has set a new standard of success for family programming.

Guests will have an opportunity to Win a Trip for Two to a Canada’s Garden Route Destination courtesy of VIA Rail.
